Supporting the Arts in Colorado
The Platt Performing Arts Foundation is a new nonprofit public charity dedicated to supporting and enhancing the arts community in Colorado.
Our Mission
Support and advance performing arts initiatives and outreach. This includes providing financial support, educational resources, and advocacy for artists.
Support Artists
Provide financial and resource support to performing artists and arts organizations in Colorado.
Enhance Education
Develop and fund educational programs that introduce young people to the performing arts.
Build Community
Create opportunities for communities to engage with and benefit from the performing arts.
Current Status
We are currently awaiting 501(c)(3) status approval from the IRS. This designation will allow us to:
- Accept tax-deductible donations
- Apply for grants and public funding
- Establish formal partnerships with arts organizations
Timeline
We submitted our 501(c)(3) application in May of 2025 and anticipate approval in the coming months. Once approved, we will begin our first initiatives.

In the coming months, we will be working with Colorado arts organizations to develop programs and initiatives that support our mission.

Establish partnerships with existing Colorado arts organizations to amplify their impact.

Develop grant programs to support individual artists and small arts organizations.

Offer fiscal sponsorship to qualifying arts projects and initiatives that align with our mission.

Advocate for policies that support and strengthen the arts in Colorado.
